  1. GEOCLOCK 6.1 sunlight clock for EGA, VGA.
  2. and SVGA. The current sun position is
  3. displayed, and the parts of the earth
  4. in sunlight and twilight are highlighted,
  5. with local sunrise/set and times around the
  6. world.  6.0 added an online gazetteer, and
  7. enhanced HAM functionality.  HAM radio
  8. options & over 200 maps are available.
  9. 6.1 is primarily a maintenance release.

  11. To install version 6.1 of GeoClock, unpack
  12. all the files in GEOCLK61 (and GEOXTR60 if
  13. you have it) in a directory on your hard
  14. disk, and run GEOSETUP to customize the
  15. program for your location and hardware.
  16. GEOCLK runs the program.
  17.  
  18. If you have a registered version of GeoClock and are
  19. updating to 6.1, you can install the new program over
  20. the old, or set up a new directory.  In either case,
  21. you must run the REGISTER.EXE program from your
  22. original installation.
  23. If you have maps from an old registered version prior
  24. to 5.0, and have not previously done so,
  25. you should renumber the EGA maps by adding 7000
  26. (i.e., MAP3.EGA becomes MAP7003.EGA).

  28. The only limitations on the shareware version are:
  29.  The system always starts with the help menu.
  30.  A limited number of maps are available.
  31.  The advanced forms of Zoom and Distance are not available.
  32.  Local time display next to cities on the map is not available.
